Russian Concert Agency is a Russian production company, which organizes big events in arts and academic music both in Russia and abroad; it also manages the leading Russian and international music bands and soloists, thus opening and supporting young artists and composers.

Since 2008, every year the Russian Concert Agency has been arranging the Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi. Last years, it has become one the largest festivals in Europe and has attracted wide audience, local and international media.

The annual International musical festivals are held in Yaroslavl (since 2009), Khabarovsk (since 2010), Rostov-on-Don (since 2013). They are distinguished by a diversity of genres and a wide geographical presence.

Among international projects of the Russian Concert Agency are the annual On the Prosecco Roads international musical festival (Italy, since 2013), Russian Nights in Nice series of concerts (2012), international trip of the Soloists of Moscow chamber ensemble on occasion of the 20th Anniversary of the group (2012). The Instruments of Antonio Stradivari in the Capitals of the World concerts deserve special attention. The artists of the Soloists of Moscow directed by Yuri Bashmet played unique musical instruments (from the State collection of unique musical instruments of Russia) in Vienna, Rome, Warsaw, Berlin, London, and Moscow.

Russian Concert Agency also carries out musical and educational projects. In particular, the Musical Academy for Children of CIS countries and Baltic states in Samara region (since 2011). In 2012, the International Children Chamber Orchestra was created on the basis of the Summer Musical Academy in Austria, directed by Yuri Bashmet. The orchestra’s musicians are the children aged from 9 to 15 years from 11 countries.

In the same year, the All-Russian Youth Symphonic Orchestra was first created upon completion of the All-Russian competition. The first composition of the orchestra comprised 79 young musicians (aged from 9 to 22 years) from 30 cities and regions of Russia. In 2014, the orchestra took part in the Closing Ceremony of Olympic Games in Sochi, and then gave concerts in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Geneva, Brussels, and Berlin. In 2016, the orchestra had the second round trip within Europe with concerts in Amsterdam, Milan and Vienna.

Since 2013, Yuri Bashmet’s Centers of Higher Professional Skills have been created on the basis of special musical schools in four cities of Russia (Kazan, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg, Rostov-na-Donu). In 2017, similar centers were launched in Perm and Krasnodar. An International Musical Academy is held in Sochi since 2016.

Creation of musical and drama performances is another important business of the Agency. It is worth noting the opera “Evgeny Onegin”, musical play “Fantastic Carmen”, the performance “Do Not Live Your Planet”, created in cooperation with Sovremennik Moscow Theater, and the performance “The Barber of Seville” made for the Anniversary Tenth Winter International Arts Festival in Sochi.

Since its creation, the Agency offers management of Russian and international artists and groups both in Russia and abroad.

The Agency pays much attention to its cooperation with modern composers: since 2015, an annual International Composers Competition is held in Sochi. Every year, the Agency orders new compositions to be written by composers from all over the world.

The Agency organizes and conducts concerts and large projects in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities of Russia, including the festivals on occasion of the Anniversary celebrations of Maestro Yuri Bashmet, Jubilee round trip of the Chamber group “Soloists of Moscow”, the concerts of leading Russian and international artists.
