Department of Symphonic Conducting. International Academy of Music

The Conducting Department within the framework of the International Music Academy of the Sochi Winter International Arts Festival is a complex of educational events for gifted young conductors, consisting of master classes, lessons, lectures by prominent figures in the field of musical art, and concert performances.

Conducted with the aim of revealing and supporting creatively promising young people, it is an effective form of searching and developing young talented conductors.

Denis Vlasenko (Russia) - Head of Department, Conductor of the State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia".

Claudio Vandelli (Italy) - Conductor, Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Wurth Philharmonic, Permanent Guest Conductor of the All-Russian Youth Symphony Orchestra and the State Symphony Orchestra "New Russia".

Freddy Cadena (Ecuador) is a conductor; from 2000 to 2006 he worked at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory Opera House. From 2000 to 2006 he worked at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory Opera Theatre. He is the founder and chief conductor of the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra of the Union of Moscow Composers.
